Our Mission
Do you look up at the night sky and wonder if there is intelligent life out there? Do you get excited when you learn that your favorite Science Fiction author has written a new book? Do you endlessly quote Star Trek or Star Wars to the dismay of friends and family? And maybe even argue which technologies are better? If so, you have materialized into the right neighborhood.
The focus of this site is on the amazing authors who have made and continue to make Science Fiction so great. What follows is a fun, informative, sometimes irreverent, look at the entertainment medium broadly called Science Fiction. We promote and encourage new authors while giving proper recognition to the men and women who boldly went before. Logically, we also carry some information on the people who bring the stories to life on both the big and the little screen.
Welcome to the open ALPHA version of Larry's Sci-Fi. Everyone is invited to come in, look around, and test out some of our features here. Why ALPHA? Well, until the feature set is near completion, we can't classify this as BETA yet. Truly, you may see access to the site fluctuate and artifacts appear and disappear as we build and debug this site. We apologize in advance for this inconvenience.
The current status is this: We are continuing to grow this site. Much of the structure is in place, but the database is still being built and features are still being added. It is a large task that must be done meticulously to ensure we've got our facts right. Please bear with us as this may take several months before we are fully operational.
Should you - Dog Forbid - find a bug, a problem, a glitch, a hiccup, an anomaly, on this website, please gently report it to us through the appropriate contact email. Chances are we already know about it, and it's on the do list, but you never know.
After all, one can't predict the future, only dream it.
